Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Retrace app. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. What Retrace is, and isn't
Retrace is a calculator. Within a time range you believe your birth falls in, it shows which times the events of your life touch most. It does not claim to find or confirm your birth time, or to predict the future. Results are for information only and are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Don't base a decision on the app's result alone.
2. Using the app
- You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes only.
- The app is not designed for children under 13.
- You may not copy, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
3. Purchases
Premium and Pro are one-time purchases with no subscription. Payment, refunds and billing are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their rules. The free tier's limits (one case, 4 events over the app's lifetime) are shown in the app and may change; a change never reduces what you have already bought.
On iPhone and iPad, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies alongside these terms.
4. Your data
What you enter stays on your phone and in your own backup; it is never sent to us. See the Privacy Policy for details. Keeping a backup of your cases and keeping your phone secure is up to you.
5. Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that its calculations are error-free, that it will run without interruption, or that it fits a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use, and our liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid for the app. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. The latest version is always published at this address, and we will tell you inside the app about any significant change.
7. Governing law and contact
